A survey of the Bili Cave and its surroundings in the Red Sea Mountains, El Gouna, Egypt

Abstract
A survey in the El Gouna area, Red Sea, Egypt, disclosed the presence of Acheulean, early Middle Palaeolithic, late Middle Palaeolithic and Middle Holocene sites. One of the Middle Holocene sites is a "Steinplatz" with Predynastic lithic material.
 
Résumé
Une prospection dans la région de El Gouna, désert de la Mer Rouge en Egypte, a permis de découvrir des sites appartenant à l'Acheuléen, au Paléolithique Moyen ancien et récent et des sites datés de l'Holocène moyen. Un de ces derniers sites est une « Steinplatz » caractérisée par un outillage prédynastique.
