The Journal of African Archaeology is an international peer-reviewed periodical appearing half-yearly since 2003. It publishes original papers addressing recent research and developments in African archaeology and related disciplines. The journal's main purpose is to provide scholars and students with a new pan-African forum for discussing relevant topics on the cultural dynamics of past African societies.

The individual online subscription guarantees a one-year access to full text articles from 2003 to the present. Online access is provided by means of username/password.

The institutional online subscription guarantees a one-year access to full text articles from 2003 to the present. Online access is provided via Internet Protocol (IP) address recognition and is available from any authorized computer on your institutional network. No usernames or passwords are requested and there is no limit on the number of readers allowed to access the online contents simultaneously.

***The purchase of an institutional online subscription includes free online access for an African institution of choice.***
